Commander Bio

Admiral Sir Charles Madden was a senior British Royal Navy officer who rose to prominence in the early twentieth century, serving in positions of high command during the First World War and its aftermath. A career naval officer of considerable tactical expertise, Madden played a significant role in British naval strategy and administration during a transformative period for the service, exemplifying the professional standards of the Royal Navy's officer corps.
